Ryan Collins,

General Manager

Ryan Collins implements a wide range of strategic programs and services for client organizations and provides coordination, promotion and media relations expertise for key projects of the Michael Collins Group.

 

For two years, Ryan managed sales, information technology and communications projects at Promotions One, working with vendors and suppliers of the company's regional events, including Red, White & Boom, First Night Columbus, and WaterFire Columbus, as well as developing additional sponsors and customers. Since 2000, he supported comparable events and promotional programs.

Ryan spent nine years as a teacher, with a focus in Social Studies.  As a teacher of middle and high school students in the Westerville City Schools, Ryan taught critical thinking and teamwork in addition to a rigorous academic curriculum. 

 

Ryan has also served as a coach of Westerville Central's junior varsity football team and as an assistant coach with the school's varsity football team. He has worked as assistant coach and team manager for the Westerville Worms Rugby Club, organizing the team's appearances around the country for rugby games and tournaments. 

 

Ryan earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in history at The Ohio State University, and he attended Otterbein University to qualify for licensure in secondary education and teaching.  He currently resides in Westerville with his wife, Kristin, and their daughter, Rowan and son, Kieran.
